Moms Love Flowers

Being a mother myself I can only tell you what I like. I love it when I come home to a clean house, and dinner on the table or planned out. But the most special gift I have ever received was from my two children who were then, 5yrs and 2 yrs, they dug up a wild rose bush from the irrigation ditch near our house and gave it to me. I still have that bush in my yard and every time it blooms I think of that day and all they had to go through to get it. The best part of all was it didn't cost a dime. Love is the best gift, just let her know you are thinking of her.

I'll probably go and talk to her later, clean her stone and bring her new flowers..

I baked a cake yesterday for her, and I'm cooking tea tonight. I've never baked or cooked for her before so I'm hoping she'll be happy! She's at work today, so i've also decided to do ALL of her housework for the day. the washing, I've just hovered the living room and am about to iron my school clothes and her work clothes! it's really hard work being a mum, i didn't realise!x

ok i cant go to the store or order anything i already got my mom a present [it is a HUGE card] i plan to make something like breakfast in bed but other wise i have no clue on what to do!

One year my daughter gave me a coupon book with things like
Watch my brother for one hour
Vacuum your car
Clean up the kitchen

I much preferred that to getting yet another knick knack.

what are some good ideas for a gift i should get my mom on mothers day. I don't want to get her any jewelry or nothing like that. i want to get her something useful she can use everyday.

How about a digital photo frame preloaded with photos (especially if she has grandchildren)…I saw a great one on HSN this weekend that was very easy to use

Does she wear jewelry? ShopNBC always has really nice, high quality jewelry. Not sure if you could get it rushed at this point, but try locally.

If she is really into plants, maybe instead of getting her flowers that die soon after, get her a small tree or flowering bush. She can plant it in her yard and it'll be a reminder of how you honored her on Mother's Day.
